What to do when the surgery is closed closed_sign

A doctor is available 24 hours a day, every day for genuine medical emergencies. Please do not phone if the problem can wait until the surgery opens. Emergency care between 6.30pm -  8.00am and on weekends / bank holidays is the responsibility of Manchester PCT.

To contact the out of hours care provider, you only need to ring the surgery number and your call will be diverted automatically.

In the interest of patients, all calls are recorded. These calls are strictly confidential in the same way as written medical records.
