Welcome to Bowland Medical Practice Online

Bowland Medical PracticeThere has been a doctor’s surgery at Bowland Road since 1963. Originally in the ground floor of a doctor’s house, the surgery has been extended several times to the size it is today. We have been a highly successful training practice since 1974. Training not only fully qualified doctors to become GP’s but also medical students, nursing students and trainee hospital doctors who become hospital consultants in the future. All of our Partners are fully involved in the training process.

Our practice also prides itself on being one of the first practices in Manchester to have practice nurses, having always had at least one practice nurse since the surgery opened in 1963.

The present five-doctor partnership aims to provide up-to-date and efficient medical care whilst retaining the friendly and accessible nature of the traditional family doctor.

The practice operates a fair and unbiased acceptance procedure for patients, and endeavours to provide equal access to our services to all patients.
